Outlook clients not updating oab

We recently went through an upgrade to Exchange 2010 and I've noticed that new distribution lists that have been created since the upgrade do not show up in the GAL.

Can somebody please tell me what I need to do to ensure these show up in the GAL?

OAB files are distributed to Exchange Server 2010 Client Access servers where they are made available for web-distribution to Outlook clients.

Each OAB virtual directory included in the web-distribution list for an OAB polls for changes on a configurable interval. I find Power Shell to be a little easier to use for managing this setting.

With Diagnostics Logging for .– Default Offline Address List On closer inspection:– The reason these recipients show up in the “All Users” Address List is because that Address List is not part of the OAB – only the Default GAL is, as shown in the screenshot below.

Of course when you run this command, you will be prompted to upgrade the DG which seems to be affecting some attributes (ms Exchange Version, show In Address Book etc.).In the Exchange Management Console navigate to Organization Configuration - Mailbox and select the Offline Address Book tab.Open the Properties of the OAB you want to modify and look at the Update Schedule. In an Exchange Server 2010 organization it is normal for there to be some delay before administrative changes appear in the address book for Outlook users. For example, a staff member changes surnames and the help desk updates their Active Directory account with the new name.
